Pilates Studio
Mat Pilates in Aireys Inlet & Anglesea,
every Thursday & Sunday
Hiya, I'm Katy Sandison.
I found Pilates after spending years trying just about every workout trend going. I was always looking for something that felt right, but nothing really stuck. Then I found Pilates.
Pilates makes me feel capable, confident and calm. It shifts my focus away from how my body looks onto what it can do.
My aim, as an instructor, is to create a welcoming space where people can move, build strength and feel good, without any pressure to keep up or be perfect.
If you're looking for burpees, star jumps or a HIIT style workout, this isn't the class for you.
My classes are slow, controlled and centred around form, movement and breath.
Strength is built through controlled movement, time under tension and steady progression. Every exercise can be adapted, so whether you're completely new to Pilates or you've been practising for years, we'll find a pace that suits you.
There'll be wobbles, a few laughs, and plenty of moments where things don't quite go to plan. That's all part of it. I believe that Pilates isn't about getting everything right. It's about showing up, staying consistent and getting a little stronger each week.
